A Little Princess Synopsis
A Little Princess is loosely based on the children's book by Francis Hogdson Burnett that was made popular by the 1936 Shirley Temple movie. A Little Princess tells the tale of young Sara Crewe and her incredible make-believe tales.
In an effort to further her education, Captain Crewe sends his beloved daughter, Sara Crewe to a strict London boarding school. Besides leaving the only home she's ever known, Sara must also leave her nanny, Aljana and close friend, Pasko. At the school, Sara makes friends with Becky, the servant girl, and her teacher, Miss Amelia. Sara's good luck is spoiled by the school's headmistress, Miss Minchin; however, using the powers of her imagination, Sara is able to transform the drab school into a colorful dream.
