Revenge of the Godz - April 26 - May 03, 2015

ACTIONPLAY

 End Notes

Directors Note:

Actionplay has had quite a remarkable season thanks to the incredible support we have recieved from our growing community! We had the amazing experience of the Actionplay Chorus performing "Yoda" with Weird Al on Comedy Central's Night of Too Many Stars and receiving a standing ovation! Our staff presented to large audiences at the New York City Arts in Education Roundtable and the 92Y Wonderplay conferences, and we received outstanding reviews. We also announced seven new board members who are energetic leaders and advocates in the autism community!

It has been an incredibly exciting period of growth for Actionplay and we are so grateful that you have been a part of it. It is with tremendous gratitude that we present our new musical comedy, a celebration of the spectrum and our fantastic season: Revenge of the Godz!

Revenge of the Godz is the final product of 20 short rehearsals on Sunday mornings as part of our inclusive AIMS (Actionplay Improv Musical Sundays) workshop for teens and young adults on the autism spectrum. Our AIMS workshop incorporates video, music, improvisation, comedy, writing and performance in a dynamic way. AIMS encourages socialization in a collaborative and developmental process of creation and discovery!

We hope you enjoy the show!

Sincerely,

Aaron Feinstein

Executive Director and Founder of Actionplay
